Description
I had a morning available to shoot some pictures. But the weather was not cooperating. Valley of the Sun, indeed! I was determined to try to get something that day. So I went to an area I had previously seen Great Horned Owls. The drizzle stopped long enough at just the right time, that I was able to get this shot. While I can't read owls' minds, I believe she would have been thinking, "Go away! Come back when I'm pretty!"

I agree with you -- it looks as if she is saying, "What are you doing? May I have a little privacy please?" A great shot capturing the personality of a most unique bird.

What a sweet capture...looks like she got caught in a downpour! L/F

It was drizzling by this point, but it had been raining all morning. Thanks, Denise!
