Description

Mandarin Ducks are not native to Arizona. So it came as quite a surprise when this one took up residence on Tempe Town Lake for a few months. It is probably an escaped exotic. This is by far the prettiest duck I have ever seen. The colors are amazing! He floated close to the water's edge and went about his business, oblivious of my presence.
