Description
The Great-tailed Grackle is a common bird in the Desert Southwest. It's a large, noisy, and conspicuous bird. The male, as seen here, has beautiful black, iridescent feathers, that show hints of blue and purple in the right light. Their tails are very long, and their eyes are bright yellow. Females are smaller and brownish in color.
